We packed up the next day and now we are on the road to the kingdom of Almaris. We didn’t waste time staying in the monster nation any longer, I promised Hana that we will be going today so we did.
The road seems too quiet, more quiet than I like it to be.
Although we were cautious we couldn’t make out one single monster, maybe that’s because there aren’t any around here, still the quiet is creeping us out.
“Hana, we should stick close to one another. It’s starting to get disorientating”

“I heard about that creature, has to do with mythology from Earth or something like that”
!Negative, in this world, Amaroq are creatures that are closely reted to wolves, they are sacred guardians over certain areas, and they possess the same capacities as a Fenrir but are more peaceful!

“So, when are going to meet the Amaqroq?”- We got closer to the source.
“Hey, Amaroq, show yourself. We are here to talk!”- I screamed out loud. I hope that it will show itself to us and we can have a civil conversation.
There was nothing, no sound of anything.
“Where do you think you are going”- I can hear the voice of a middle-aged man behind us
“Ohh, here you are. We are going to the kingdom of Almaris. We don’t want any trouble”- We turned around trying to speak as slowly as clearly as possible.
“You may pass. I suggest you take a rest, it’s almost dark, I can stay here and guard you. It’s my duty after all”- I am not getting it.

“Now I get it”
“Ok, we will rest. Do you have a name?”- I know I shouldn’t ask that but I might give it a try
“No, not as of now anyway. Do you want to give me one?”- He looked at me somehow curious
“Well, I promise after we return from the Kingdom of Almaris I will give you one. I don’t have enough mana to name you and still keep going on the road. I will be out cold for at least 3 days”- The Amaroq nodded.
“I trust that you will do as you say. Well, now, it’s time to build a shelter and a fire”
The 3 of us built a shelter for the night, well more like setting up the tents that we had in my spatial storage.
“You have the skill Predator? I guess you are not as weak as I expected you to be. You aren’t strong either. You are just in the middle, I got to say, that girl is stronger than you currently are. Are you ok with that?”- He whispered to me softly.
“I already know that about her. I know I am weak. It won’t stay like this for long. I promise you that”- He smiled and took a step back.
“Well, I am gd you do. I hope that you two will make the greatest generation of Demon Lords, I can already feel it. Tell me one more thing, do any of you have subordinates?”- I went to talk to him in private about this.
“Yes, we do. Both are stronger than us. We usually train with them”- The man’s eyebrow raised.
“I wonder who they are. Anyway, I want to tell you that there are ways to upgrade that predator skill of yours. I already know where to get one of the skills. It’s pretty easy to get”
“Sure, what is that skill?”- I wonder what will happen tomorrow or when we get to the kingdom. We must rush there and not lose any second.
“You can get it from a slime. They spawn 100 meters ahead of us. I will stay here and guard. You can go and Predate a slime there”

“Hey, man, I want to whisper something to you”- The man raised his eyebrows again.
“What is it?”- He whispered to me
“We are being watched, be careful”
He nodded his head and he had gone to stay near Hana, I should be able to handle this intruder under any circumstances.
I went ahead to where the Amaroq said that there will be slimes.
There were a lot of slimes where I ended up.

I came back to the camp only to see the Amaroq tying up a man.
“I found our little stalker”- Hana is shocked at what she sees, but looking closer at the man, that’s Hana’s father, ok, now, what the hell is he doing here?“Well, I know that stalker, I want to talk to him”- I ran up to Hana’s father.
“Oh, Hikaru, sorry, didn’t want to scare you guys like this”
“If you know each other then why stalk them? Were you afraid of me?”- The man asked Hana’s father
“Well, he is.”- The man let go of her father.
“Ok, you 2 have got the letter. We aren’t in any danger but you 2 need to go to the kingdom, to put it bluntly, there is a rescue mission I want you 2 to assist me. To make a long story short there are some monsters who are being sold as sves to the kingdom, we managed to dey that by telling them that we will send some rich buyers there, I want Hikaru to go there and free those monsters and get back to the monster nation, I told them you are from a faraway nation and that it will take you around a month to get there. Do everything you to free those monsters!”- Why did he only mention me?
“We will do our best Dad!”- Hana stood near me and held my hand.
“Good. I will stay here tonight and rest with you and then get going”
