We are almost nearing the capital city of the Nation of Monsters, it doesn’t have a name yet. Ayame didn’t give us any express info on naming the city. But I guess it will need one once we are done building the houses.

  The space near the capital is in shambles. We will need to first take care of it.

  “Sia, what can be done?”- I don’t know what to do with them myself. There is too much debris, falling trees, and stones.

  !I think you got an idea now. If we clear this area we can use those materials in construction or at least for firewood or stone for building other things if these aren’t suitable for building a house.!

  “You are right Sia. We will have the carpenter inspect it first to see what we can do with these trees.”

  “Well, I suggest the same thing, Hikaru. We will have to cut more trees and expand the capital city even more and from there we can expand the other cities and give them housing”- That would be good in a perfect world, we don’t know what sort of mentality these monsters possess. It’s a completely different world than what we are used to. Back in Japan people are a little bit more progressive than they are here and have less prejudice against people or what race they are.

  !Answer: People here are still in a medieval period. Compared to your world tradition and religion have a rger impact here. Tradition impacts monsters more than religion. !

  “I got a general idea. But how are going to change these opinions?”- I am trying to think of what traditions could monsters hold around these parts. I can’t think of any that aren’t stereotyped from fantasy light novels where I am from.

  !Monsters usually listen to people who are Demon Lords and serve under them. These monsters serve under Ayame and recognized her as their leader. It will cause turmoil if you present yourself as a demon lord sprouting holder. Wait for a little bit before doing that. Let Ayame present you to them when the time comes. For now, just focus on the task ahead. If you say that Ayame wanted it the monsters will comply!

  Sia makes sense. I guess Ayame is as fit as a Demon Lord to rule over the nation of monsters.

  “Hikaru, this is Ayame, can you hear me? Where are you?”- We can hear Ayame over the telepathic network speaking with us.

  “Yes, what happened?”- I can think of a million reasons why she called us. Maybe we are being attacked or there is a problem with the lordship?

  “Nothing major. We wanted to check in on the 3 of you. You should be halfway to the mist forest, right?”

  “Yeah, we passed that. We wasted 3 days because Hikaru decided to name the dragon that guarded the forest, Millie. Anyway, we are almost at the front gate, we can see the city from here”

  “Wait, Hikaru named her? I guess he has more mana than I do. Anyway, Hikaru, tell the monsters the next words ‘Your dy has brought the goods, we are the carriers. On her honor we are here This is a kind of password I set up for the three of you to be trusted by the monsters there”- Ayame closed the telepathic call with us.

  We entered the nation of monsters. We got strange and scared looks from everyone. I wonder why?

That is the most likely spot where we will find someone that will listen since there are many people and monsters alike outside. Wow, I wouldn’t think monsters and people would live like this, but the problem is that there are tents everywhere I look. No house, the living conditions are poor and the soil where they pnt crops seems to be infertile.

  !The solution is to first gain their trust and then try to use magic on the soil, in this world the earth needs a little bit of mana to gain nutrients.!

  We started the construction of the houses at once, we didn’t waste a single moment, and when I say that I mean it.

  The monsters were confused a little bit, I expined everything while they were building, the carpenter directing their every move.

  We made preparations for making food for the monsters. My spatial storage is full to the brim with ingredients and spices.

  First I started to prepare noodle-based dishes like spaghetti, Udon, and Ramen for the monsters there. I thought some of the monsters chefs how to make the dishes.

  “So, you say that these soups have nutritional value?”- One of the goblin chefs looked at me in wonder

  “Yes, they have high-calorie value, the best for construction workers. Now, what food did you serve before?”- I wonder if Ayame had thought them how to cook.

  “Well, dy Ayame thought us some dishes but not as many as you two did”- I looked at the dishes the other chefs cooked, they were mostly Japanese dishes that took very low effort and resources but weren’t calorie-rich probably because this area cks any suitable terrain to grow crops.

  “I see. We will teach you more than that. It’s all for free. We like to help”- Me and the chefs begin to ugh and make jokes about the food. Hana is making other types of dishes like sweets and more refined dishes where you need to be gentler or the cooking instructions are harder to follow and need to be exact. I am mostly an expert when it comes to cooking something that can be modified ter and doesn’t take as much skill to follow the recipe.

  But enough about that. Tomorrow we will see to repair the nds and cut down the forest immediately. We have no time to waste, who knows when King Wieka’s army will attack next.
