  SurfAngel_1031

A whirlwind. Heather didn’t know how or why it happened, but the reality of the enter with Cire had started to rea epic fervor of meshed kisses and pressed bodies. Happy energy from Cire flooded Heather’s body and enhahe small sparkles of desire she’d thought about when they’d first spoken. It was only after she felt Cire pulling on her blouse and gliding her pulsing yellow runed hand arouher’s waist, did the doctor have the name ‘Carrie’ flood her mind and bring her back to reality. Dizzy with the passioher took a few steps bad fixed her top while leaning against the wall she’d been pressed against. “Cire…stars help me, Cire…stop.” Heather begged and did her best to slow Cire down so she’d e to her senses.

“H-Heather?” Cire breathed heavily and rolled to the side, and leaned against the same wall. Nearly out of breath and her chest heaving with passion, Cire let her uplifting magic fade and she slowly found herself a little tired as well as a touch ashamed. “Heather, I am so…” She took a deep breath and pushed herself off the wall and walked over to plop on the sofa with a grunt. “Did-Did I misread what we were doing?” Cire fluffed her light brown hair out and rubbed her eyes. “I am not imagining this, am I?” Cire reiterated and tinued. “I swore I heard you ask where we were and that you wanted US to make a pce here.”

“I-I did.” Heather pushed herself off the wall just like Cire had and grabbed the etal e band before she sat down. “I-I…yes, I said it.” She looked up at Cire, her brown eyes luminous with the remnants of both their make-out session and the lingering yellow magic still in her veins. “I have never just…leapt like this before.” She pulled Carrie’s crib over to her and swung it gently to keep the infant asleep. “Carrie deserves more…” She snorted, “…Tatum deserves more.”

“Carrie I get. She is right there; you’ve protected her the best you could for months now.” Cire pulled her ko her chest. “Tatum, I am not following.” Cire set her on her knees, “You made a cute little release ached her spirit float off…” Cire’s voice softened as she spoke, “…What more could we have actually done, Heather? It isn’t like we could have a wake. We had no body to bury, not that we’d have one, if what you said was true about the shadewraiths.” Cire shrugged her shoulders, “All I know is a few minutes ago, I was happy.” Cire stood up and began pag the floor in front of the television. “There is so much trash out there, that we ’t stop…A kiss, a little toug and expl didn’t seem like such a bad idea.” Cire looked at her potential partner ed. “ing Carrie.” She walked to the other side of the crib and ed her fingers over the wood she’d repaired. “She is adorable, and I am … smitten with that young dy. Somehow, she just looked at me and it … felt right.”

Running her fingers over the small ring, Heather ha to Cire. “You knew her better…” Standing up Heather walked over to the long dining table that all of the captains used while eating and pnning operations with Denise. “Why did both of them entrust me with all of this?” Heather turned bad stared questioningly at Cire. “What does living here mean for Carrie? I don’t wao see all the horrid things that went on here.” With a wave of her hand, Heather pulled up a fully detailed image of her giving Wendy the lobotomy that she’d mentioned. “When Carrie cast spells, she will know…and that’s just me.” C her mouth as she sidered what else to say, Heather kept Carrie at the forefront of her mind. “I ’t expose her to you, let her think you are her seother…” She crossed her arms over her chest, “…and you leave. Normally I would go out with someone a few times to see if we get along and see if there is chemistry … and I wouldn’t do anything without seeing how Carrie reacts.” Heather walked back to Cire and smiled, “What are you doing to me? I have all these fears and s that we are moving too fast and I don’t even know if I holy love you.” She shrugged, “I feel fortable with you, I like you…but that is all I know.”

“I never said you loved me, and I certainly didn’t say I loved you.” Cire ughed and opened her hand. “As I said, I am willing to find out.” Cire summoned a small yellow spider web and started affixing it in small little shapes that ected to itself. “Look, you aren’t going crazy Heather.” Cire got a sheepish look in her eyes, yet it was genuine and g. “We’d beeing along sihe moment you walked into the restaurant…” Cire floated the webbed ball over to Heather. “You even asked me to marry you…Which I knoyful, but it was a touch flirtatious.” With a wave of her hand, the thin threads began to unravel in front of Heather’s eyes. “You were fused whe. I showed you my ability and you’ve been embrag it since.”

“To the point where I had fotten Carrie, Denise and Tatum.” Heather stayed stead and watched the strands pull themselves apart and had a realization. “Oh, god.” Heather added, “…You’ve had me uhe influence since you offered it the first time, haven’t you?”

With a sorrowful look on her face, Cire nodded slowly. “I could tell you , Heather. I was quietly supplying the positivity. I am sorry I didn’t tell you.”

“Did you pnt these ideas in my head?” Heather half-squealed and made Carrie open her eyes. She looked down at her daughter and picked her up. “I am holdio keep … you safe.”

“I uand.” Cire picked up her small purse and slung it over her shoulder. “I leave…but Heather, I don’t really want to.” Her swirling brown eyes veyed heartfelt regret as Cire stood silently with her feet slightly turned in. “I didn’t add anything that wasn’t there, Heather. You thought about me a few times and I just…added the push.” A tear rolled down Cire’s cheek. “I really would like to find out what we do here.” She poio Carrie. “She has my heart already, do I really have to leave?”

A quid silent spell to ehat she was still pletely herself, Heather looked at her daughter and cooed, “What do you think little one? Do you like Cire?” Little half-cps came from Carrie as she tried to make her hands cooperate. “Spoken like a genius, Carrie.” Heather walked to Cire and handed Carrie to her. “I want to know, but stop using the magie. Promise?” Heather ughed lightly when Cire made a cross over her chest. “You have lots to teach me…” Heather shook out her hair, “…I’ve only really been with one person.” She bit on her lower lip. “Um…like you said, I am willing to find out what we are going to do.”
