Whelp, the day is finally here! Discount Dan book 1 is officially live on Amazon!
To celebrate, I took Croc to go get a picture with the cast of the Twilight Movie series. Now, this isn't Robert Pattison or Kristen Stewart, but it is the rest of the Cullen family.
It was glorious and hilarious in equal measure. I don't think I have ever seen four more confused actors. An entire line of middled aged woman, and then me, a 6'2" dude in a bathrobe and toolbelt with the weirdest most horrifying plushie on the planet.
The guy who played Jackson was like, "Uh... so what's that thing?"
I said, "This is Croc, an Eldritch Abomination beyond human imagination and he loves three things: Froyo, murder, and the Twilight Book series."
Long awkward pause follows, then, "Oh... Okay. Well, if that thing likes Twilight, then I guess we like him too."
Next time I'm at a Comic Con and one of them is there, I'm gonna get them to sign the photo and give them a copy of the book. Then... Then I'll keep going until eventually I have Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart as well. Gonna collect them like Pokémon. Heck, if the book does well enough, maybe we'll even get Internationally Best-Selling Author Stephenie Meyer (the voice of a generation) to see it!

Speaking of the launch -- if you want to help out, there's a couple things you can do to make sure all the world knows of the horrendous glory of Discount Dan and best boy Croc.
1. Consider grabbing a copy of the Ebook on Amazon or read through it in Kindle Unlimited. I know y'all already support me, so it's not a problem if you can't do this. But every sale helps with Sales Rank, which increases visibility on Amazon. More visibility means more eyeballs on Dan.
2. Grab a copy of the Audiobook, narrated by the amazing Steve Campbell. This is also a huge benefit. Plus, Steve did a great job and it's so fun to hear all of these characters come to life.
3. Please, please, please consider leaving a short honest review over on Amazon. I cannot tell you how helpful these are. Even more than a direct sale, and you can leave a review even if you don't directly purchase a copy. You can find the link to leave a review above. If you've already reviewed the book here on Royal Road, you can literally just copy and paste the review over to Amazon.
4. Please tell people about it in any social media groups you happen to be a part of (Facebook, Reddit, Discord, etc.). A lot of groups restrict self promotions from Authors so I literally can't tell people about it, but you guys can. Go tag a social media wall and leave a few digital Twinning Rings behind to lead readers back to Discount Dan's Backroom Bargains. Or if you see people asking for book recs, just drop a comment recommending it. There are some images below that y'all can use if you want to post on Social.
5. Lastly, I'll be doing a reddit AMA in the LitRPG subreddit today, starting at 5PM EST, so please swing by and ask some questions. I'll happily talk about secrets for book 3 and I might even share Jakob's SBR if someone wants to see it. I'll also be having a virtual Discount Dan launch party on Sunday March 16th.
