Cain turned around slowly, his wrath boiling over. Slowly he pulled out the sword lodged in his thigh, tossing it into the ocean. Letting out a maddening roar, Cain charged at Kane, red aura coating his bloodstained fists.
Kane felt an immense pressure on his shoulders, it wasn't at a God's level but it was enough to slow him down. He didn't have enough time to react, barely mustering energy to ensure his scales could withstand the blow. His large frame was sent flying back, crashing into the railing of the deck.
Cain stopped attacking, simply watching as Kane struggled to stand. He cracked his knuckles and spoke with a smile.
"I'm going to enjoy killing you. Do you have any last words for anyone? I'll make sure to relay the message to your loved ones when I kill tham too."
Kane staggered to his feet, his few remaining scales on the verge of breaking. Not too far from him, Vaelora's hand twitched as she regained consciousness. On the opposite side of the deck, Fenric, who had turned back to normal, also staggered to his feet. Kaelon was also rising slowly, reaching for his sword on the deck.
All of them were extremely exhausted, not only that wounds marred Kaelon and Fenric's bodies. Vaelora was in better condition but the impact of Cain's kick had knocked her unconscious. Now all four of them rose slowly, eyes locked on Cain.
On the streets of Windstone, The Immortal was walking through carnage. He had been making his way across Thalasar's River, heading to Vinhal, when he felt Divine energies clashing here. Immediately he switched targets and left Vinhal as soon as he got over the cliff.
Arriving at Windstone, he was met with a smoking city. Rubble littered the streets along with bodies, mostly pirates. Looking around he could see many people in need of healing, cries of pain echoing through the night. A faint white energy began to spread from him, seeping into bystanders around him as he walked.
The screams faded as wounds closed and healed just from making contact with his energy. It wasn't long before he made it to the docks, a trail of bowing civilians behind him. They worshipped the ground he walked on, treating him as if he were a true God.
Looking out into the sea, Vitalion saw Vaelora's ship. He felt the Divine energies on the deck, faint and fading. Three people laid on the deck, wounds marring their bodies as blood pooled under them. Flames danced across the ship as it moved to dock, it wouldn't be long before the vessel sinks.
Before The Immortal's arrival, Cain stood surrounded by enemies. His eyes scanned each of their conditions, a smile creeping on his face as he came to a realization. He could win! Even if he was outnumbered four to one. Immediately the enemy was upon him.
Vaelora was doing the most damage, her body in the best condition on the deck. Her cutlass was wreathed in lightning as she clashed with Cain's aura. She ran around him doing hit and run tactics and occasionally shooting off a lightning bolt in Cain's direction.
Kaelon was struggling to make an impact on the fight. His exhaustion had long overcome him, but he forced himself to move forward. His sword moved weakly and his attacks did nothing but distract the Sin of Wrath.

Fenric was doing better than him, but only a little bit. He had been exerting his body since rushing to this city, even his monstrous stamina was strained. He rushed around Cain, delivering punches whenever he could but without transforming his attacks did minimal damage.
Kane took the front lines, blocking strikes with his limited and broken scales. Blood covered his entire body, wounds accumulating as he struggled to contend with the demigod.
Cain was going all out, his missing hand replaced by an aura construct. His arms moved like red blurs, punches flying in every direction. He met each of his prey's attacks with his own and his hands lashed out an any opening he saw.
'An opening!'
Kaelon rushed in for an attack, seeing Cain's side was open. But it was a trap, as soon as he stepped in Cain took the opportunity to deal a devastating punch to his head. Immediately a loud bang was heard and Kaelon collided with the deck, unconscious.
Kane moved to guard him from further attacks, standing between Cain and his fallen comrade. Fenric joined him, protecting the unconscious red haired boy. Cain looked at them with an amused expression. But as he was about to speak he froze.
His smile fell as he turned towards Windstone, he could feel a Divine presence in the city. Not only that, it was The Immortal. A man that could be described as the mortal closest to reaching Godhood. If he came here, healed his enemies and joined the fight, Cain stood no chance.
Turning towards his enemies he spoke with a grim expression.
"It seems today is your lucky day, you guys will live to see another day. But don't miss me too much, I'll be back. And when I return expect your lives forfeit."
Immediately Cain's legs became wrapped in his red aura. He crouched and the next second he was gone, having shot off the ship and into the night.
Vaelora, who was charging up an attack, let her lightning fly in his direction. As her lighning bilt approached, the clouds above Cain rumbled. When her attack hit, an actual lightning bolt joined it in striking Cain as he ran. His skin began to smoke as he moved, the lightning clearly having an effect.
Fenric collapsed on the deck next to Kaelon, panting for air. Kane fell right beside him, leaving only Vaelora still up, blood still leaking from her missing right eye. Having one eye would take getting used to, but her Divinity could compensate for her impaired senses, using the wind to feel for her surroundings.
She looked around her ruined ship, before shrugging. She could get another ship. It wasn't like she was particularly attached to this one, having stolen it from other pirates. She tried steering it to Windstone's Harbor, docking the flaming ship.
On the docks, a huge wolf rushed for the flaming ship. Myrr jumped onto the deck, hurrying to Fenric's side. A man began slowly walked up to the burning ship. In the blink of an eye he was already on the deck, seemingly teleporting.
He turned to look at everyone present before slightly bowing.
"It's nice to meet you all, children of the Gods. I am Vitalion, they call me The Immortal. It seems I arrived a bit late, my apologies."
Vaelora's single eye widened in surprise. The Immortal was a prominent and powerful figure, the mortal closest to Godhood. Immediately her thoughts went to her eye, could this legendary doctor restore it? Approaching Vitalion she lowered her head before asking.
"Immortal, can you heal my eye? It was ripped out in the battle."
Turning towards her he spoke.
"Do you have it? If not, then no I'm sorry. I'm not at a level where I can create organs out of nothing."
Vaelora clicked her tongue in frustration. To her that's what losing her eye was, frustrating. It wasn't the biggest deal since she knew that she could use the winds to compensate. All it would take was some more practice and her wind sense would be better than her remaining eye.
"Damn it... Well, it is what it is. At least I look more like a pirate, I guess."
Vitalion turned away from her, examining everyone's condition. Kaelon, Fenric, and Kane all rose in the air, lifted by Vitalion's energy. Myrr followed behind Fenric,
letting out worried whimpers at his side. Vitalion disembarked from the ship, beckoning Vaelora to follow.
"Come, we'll begin your treatment in the nearest inn."
