7:41 am.
There was a lot that could be said about the girl by the name of Rose Wright...
For one thing, she knew she had to get to school, and of that, well...
She had a lot to do.
The teenage girl quickly walked out of her room, grabbing a towel, and getting herself to the showers.
This was an easy enough task.
The Wright residence of course being big enough that her bathroom was a few rooms away...
And of it, it was something of a fancy antique bathroom...
One with many decorative shelves and decorative forms on the walls and forms...
Just one of the many things that spoke of the opulence of the house of the Wrights.
7:42 am.
Showering...
Was one of the many, many things that Rose took into great consideration every morning...
After all, it was what would soon after take the very next several minutes of her day.
Yep.
Rose Wright...
As many a teenage girl...
Was one who would take great care of her own physical appearance...
That was just her.
And so this bath was not just a bath...
It was also time to check on her nails...
On her hair...
Doing it, cleaning it, and so many other things...
To say nothing of the time she took to brush her teeth and other things.
That was just the way her mornings went.
A whole thing that took something along the lines of 30 minutes.
And of those minutes...
Did she stay there...
Simply sorting things out, until...
8:10 am.
... she found herself getting out of there.
This process...
Was one she was not to unfond of.
In fact, she was quite happy to do it.
After all, before she entered the shower, she had a smile on her face.
And of that, the very next thing for this girl was something only a bit puzzling...
And even still, she carried a skip in her step.
After all, this teenage girl just so happened to be one who...
Somehow...
Had something she could look forward to this day.
That being...
... well...
That her being her...
Really liked spending time with her friends...
That was just her.
And of course...
In any case...
8:11 am.
The puzzling thing came to her.
What would she wear?
And of it, considering what was to happen today...
Truly, what would she wear?
But then again, did she really have to wear anything special?
It was a special occasion, sure...
But still...
She had plenty of time to decide what was to occur next and thereafter considering her clothes.
And even still...
She didn't really have to worry too much.
After all, she had her friends to concern herself with when it came to that.
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
And therewith did Rose soon bear witness to the many...
Many...
Many...
Options she had available.
Rose Wright was not one to stockpile several clothes just for the sake of it.
As a matter of fact, it was simply because she usually just bought whatever she thought was pretty.
That was that.
That was the whole reason she would buy that thing.
And thereof, even in her huge mess, she could still pick out which ones she thought were good looking enough that she could wear them.
Anything cute...
Anything pretty...
Anything nice...
But also, as Tiffany always advised...
Rose: (thinking: Something that allows me to move freely...)
That was what her best friend had always told her.
After all, given the lives they lived...
Yeah...
She could not afford to wear something that restricted her movement in any way whatsoever.
And thereof, then and there, lay a problem...
Well, rather, one that would surface any time Rose went shopping.
That being...
That she only ever bought such clothes.
That was just her.
Not that it was a big deal to her anyway, but rather, that it was by that and by that that every single one of her clothes fit that criteria...
Not a single one failed to.
Nope.
Not one.
And of this case...
Today...
She would have to bring some extra clothes in the case that she needed to do something sporty.
That was unlikely...
But in any case, she would.
Rose: (thinking: Two pairs of clothes... That's it!)
That sounded perfect in her head...
But like all things in this world...
It was not so simple.
Because...
Right there and then...
Right at that very moment...
Came a certain problem that shook her right off her own mind.
That being...
That there was something important she had just forgotten about.
And of that...
Yep.
It was Max.
8:17 am.
It is a thing that troubles every teenage girl...
Or everyone that just so happens to be an adolescent.
Heck, anyone who has romantic feelings for another.
That being...
That now she wanted to look good for him.
It was as simple as that.
It wasn't like this was the first time it had happened...
After all, she had been slowly considering what she wore more and more and more...
But this time...
It hit her even harder.
Much harder.
Hard enough that she froze while holding onto a short dress that she thought went well with her eyes...
And thought again...
The thought being...
"What do boys like?"
The question that has plagued many a naive teenage girl such as herself...
And of it, did she immediately do what came naturally to her...
Being...
That she immediately went into her wardrobe and began another search.
Her wardrobe...
A large, wooden piece in her room, almost twice or even more than twice as large as an ordinary wardrobe, was the only place in her room where well-organized clothes found themselves.
An enigma, if one will...
That being said, she did soon after begin to look for even cuter clothes...
Rose: (thinking: Let's see... the blue one? The red one? Does Max like blue?)
One after the other...
One cloth after the other found itself on the floor...
8:20 am.
Before she finally settled for this...
The very same short dress she'd started with in the first place...
Simply because it seemed to match her eyes the best...
And also, because much as she was worried over this...
She also knew… that deep down, she did still need to go to school...
After all, this was something Tiffany had her know to do.
And of it, she knew she had to hurry.
She picked the same green dress as she normally would and of it, took some time to ready her hair.
This...
Also...
Was a process...
The simple fact of the matter was this...
Rose Wright had a lot of hair accessories...
Some stylishly pretty, some cutely pretty...
Some prettily cute.
But all that was similar about them was this.
She loved the look of them all.
And also, she did tend to keep her favorite ones in her bag.
These accessories...
By and large, were what she used to style her long hair into a pig-tail kind of form.
That being also, the fact that she had really long hair.
Long pink hair...
The kind that stood out like a sore thumb glowing bright red in front of everybody watching.
The simple fact being...
That almost no one had pink hair.
And of that, well...
Rose loved her hair.
Enough that she took great amounts of care of it.
She would spend several minutes combing it...
Several others spraying it...
In fact, she had soon come to learn of how hair care products on Earth worked and had thereof spent many a moment researching, learning, and also, practising...
All coming together to form the way she did her hair.
Pig-tails...
And of them, exceptionally long ones...
After all, her hair was long enough that it allowed her to do so.
And of that, did she soon decide on what exactly she was to wear...
The same short dress...
The same pig-tails...
And then it hit her again...
The desire...
Because, after all...
Was there truly nothing better she could wear?
Her eyes fell upon the stack of other cute clothes she could wear...
8:22 am.
Before she eventually turned back to look at her clock once more...
Yep.
She was late.
Rose Wright, much unlike the other members of the team, didn't take a cab or drive to school or anything of the sort.
Nope.
She just walked.
And of it, it was never truly a long walk all the way to school...
In fact, she was usually there on time.
Several minutes early in fact.
And of that fact, it required that she got going...
In a much shorter amount of time than she was used to.
Well, not much shorter...
Just a bit shorter in reality.
And of that, well...
The pressure rose...
And for a whole moment...
She stayed there...
Rose: (thinking: But... what if... and what if...)
Before eventually deciding to just go as planned...
But with a twist...
Yep.
She'd wear her brand new hair clips...
The ones she thought were cute, and also, had never before in her life worn.
That was just her.
And of it, she immediately headed to her backpack.
8:24 am.
It was situated right next to her own bed.
Half-open...
Laying there...
And of it, did she grab it and immediately concern herself with which books she had to bring that day.
Rose: (thinking: Ok. It's uh... Chemistry... No, no, Maths... Then Biology and Chemistry...)
Yep.
She had all that sorted...
Wrapped up in her bag...
And...
8:25 am.
Was soon ready for the last thing she had to do that morning.
Breakfast.
She immediately took a quick look around the room, and in something of a hurry...
Got herself off her bed, dressed up, took a quick look in the mirror...
Inspecting herself once more...
And only a bit longer than she thought she would have...
Before finally heading downstairs...
8:29 am.
Rose: (thinking: It's ok. No need to panic.)
This was a thought process taught to her by Tiffany so many times before.
That being...
... that in times of dire stress and when her heart was filled with fear...
... she was the one that told her this...
... "Don't panic. Just calm down. Think clearly..."
And of that, of those words that she held close to her heart...
She walked downstairs...
Not in a hurried panic...
But rather, in a somewhat quick walk...
Full knowing that she had to make it to school on time, and of it, that she had to be ready for what was to occur that day...
To say nothing of this...
To be ready...
Always...
Just in case her powers were needed.
But before she did leave her room...
She did remain with one thing to say...
Rose: Goodbye fishies. I'll see you later!
