Long ago, the Region was the heartland of the Uristans Empire, a Wood Elf-Vampire alliance that predated the Aristocracy and Thali'ean. The Empire once flourished thanks to its wealth of resources and mountains that protected it from external threats. However, this became its undoing as internal matters rose.

  At one point, the two long-living races soon divided over their differences, and how they would rule. This broke into a civil war between the vampires and elves, breaking all sense of unity within the region.

  Since the Uristan fall, Nevali has entered a state of warring City-State rivalry. With other powers unable to annex and stabilize the region, they were forced to pick proxies to push their influence and agenda with only a few moments of a unified Nevali.
