Vol.6 Ch.377 I Demand a Divorce

The ballroom was deathly silent. Everyone who witnessed Rya's strength in action was awed by her sheer power and her ability to use such an intense amount of mana and yet still maintain her composure. The only exceptions was the dwindling supporters of Duchess Leandra, the Duke and Leandra herself. The reports Aric received from Belial didn't do Rya justice. For the first time in a long time, he started feeling doubt, however, his thirst for revenge outweighed his caution. If he was going to go down, he was going to do it in the most underhanded ways possible. Rya had shown him no other way possible. They were mere insects to the Dark Elf Princess, and he finally understood that.

"W-Why were the rumors about Dark Elves using enchanted spells you trick humans...were not true?" Lady Lakia Dordithas asked her friend.

"I have no idea... Who needs to trick someone when you have that kind of power!" Noa Nattily Nyte answered her, as she watched her friend shake her head in disbelief.

"I-I think we ought to get on Princess Rya's side... It's clear to me that she's going to become the Crown Princess whether we like it or not. Leandra has failed us, and we were fools to believe her," Cecelia von Falkenstein whispered back to her friends. They couldn't help but agree with her, as they continued to watch the Dark Elf Princess.

Rya couldn't help but admire her handy work. Prince Ethan was gurgling out blood from all of his orifices and his was teetering on the edge of death.

'Serves this piece of shit right. All this trouble because you think you're superior because of what was between your legs... I hope you suffer before death takes you, Ethan,' Rya thought as she left go of Ethan's right ankle and turned her back to him, 'Speaking of pieces of shit... Let's see how the Duke is fairing after my little demonstration.' She smugly thought to herself and then turned towards Aric Revelia.

He wasn't in great shape mentally as he was sweating bullets and trembling with fear. Rya's dispy of her power and mana control was not something that a mere mortal could do. She could destroy the entire Kingdom if she chose to. But her restraint had shown the Court that she spoke truth to her words. She didn't want to rule this Kingdom out of fear, but respect.

Rya was about to call Aric out in hopes that he would piss himself in front of all these women. However, she caught a glimpse of the Revelia daughters, namely Jemma. Rya could tell that she needed closure, and letting Ethan die didn't sit right with Rya. She only met him today, but Jemma was married to him for almost two decades. She's lived and gone through things that Rya could only imagine.

'Shit!... Here I was being selfish and thought I was fixing everything... Alright Ethan, you're life is in Jemma's hands now. You better pray that she doesn't give me the order to kill you.' Rya thought as she was a bit conflicted.

Jemma was confused about why Rya was looking at her with pity, but then she smiled and aimed her left hand behind her towards her husband.

The Dark Elf's eyes glowed as she used the Time Magic Healing. Within seconds the blood that was pooling on the ground quickly flowed back into the Prince's body, and all his injuries and broken bones painfully repaired themselves.

"AAAHHH!!!! GAAAAAAHHHH!!!!" The Prince screamed at the top of his lungs while he rolled around on the ground. It was like he experienced all the pain from receiving his injuries all at once and his mind nearly broke from the pain. It took him ten seconds before him mind and body finally calmed down, but the memories of the pain still lingered in his mind and body as he y there on the ground sweating her previously while face first on the ground.

"I-Is he alive?" Leandra stammered as she was terrified of Rya's dispy and the fact that she can bring people back from the brink of death made her all the more dangerous. Her armies would be unstoppable if she were there to lead them.

"He's was close to death," Rya replied nonchantly and then turned her head towards Jemma, "So, Lady Jemma, do you wish to speak to your husband for one st time?" She asked with a smirk.

Jemma looked confused as the whole Court was looking at her, waiting for her answer.

"Are you going to kill him?"

"That's up to you, Lady Jemma. You are the one who suffered from his treatment," Rya replied as she smirked.

"I-I don't know if I have it in me," Jemma replied as she didn't know how she should feel if she ordered his death. She felt like she would become just like him if she did, and that wasn't something she ever wanted.

"I mean, tell him how you felt living with him and demand a divorce. You deserve a man who will treat you right," Rya said as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Divorce!? But what if he doesn't accept it?"

"Lady Jemma... You forget that you are the one with the leverage. You are a promising Lightning Mage that wishes to pursue a life of academia. While the prince is a political man who needs to battle his brothers for the unification of the Principality of Sokaris. If he wanted to make that goal a reality, then maybe he should have thought about that before we discovered your Mage Vein. He will accept your offer to null the marriage, or he will be making his harem widows at a early age," Rya said with a chuckle as she clicked her fingers and the the ground just a couple of feet left Rya began to morph and acted like liquid before it took a feminine shape. The liquid marble started to look like Rya as the humanoid figure morphed into a mirror image of the dark elf. Soon the marble looked like skin and long white hair appeared.

The Ladies of the Court couldn't believe their eyes as a twin copy of Princess Rya Velnax stood next to her. It looked exactly like, with the exception being with ck of clothing. Luckily for them, Rya was able to give R9 strapless bra and panties to wear.

Aric was the most panicked out of the group as he was the only one outside of Rya's Entourage who knew and seen the golems in person. He wanted to use the Sorcerer's Syer on it right then and there, but he wrangled in his fear and anger towards the golem.

Jemma looked at her sisters as she didn't know what Rya was doing, but the court was quiet.

Rya looked over at Ethan who was still face down in the crater that his body formed when Rya smashed him into the ground. She had a look of disgust as the prince's groans were slowly getting louder.

"It's rude to keep a dy waiting, Prince Ethan. Get him up," Rya said with an authoritative tone. R9 nodded and walked over to the crater and grabbed his hair and pulled him up to his knees.

'W-What is going—Wait!? She healed me again!? Well that's the st mistake she'll ever make! I know your tricks now you bitch! And I'll make sure to gut you when you least it,' Ethan thought to himself as his mind was finally coherent again. He missed the conversation that Rya and his wife were having, but he heard the footsteps of the dark elf coming towards him and he hoped that she was letting her guard down if he just y there. And when he felt her grabbing his hair to lift him up was the best possible scenario.

'Grrr! J-Just bear with it a little longer! I will have my revenge soon enough!' He thought to himself while carefully positioning his right hand near the inside of his left boot. He felt the handle of his st emergency dagger, which he hid there.

'Once she gets me on my knees, I'll grab the dagger and stab her in the throat or gut, whichever is easier.' Ethan thought.

He couldn't help but be excited as he pnned to murder the bitch, who dared to humiliate him, was about to get a taste of his bde. Usually, he would have felt pathetic using such a underhanded technique against a woman, but she was no mere woman. She was a dark elf and a witch that needed to die.

And just as Ethan's knees were about to touch the ground, he struck.

'NOW!!' he thought to himself, his hand darted out, pulling his dagger free and he twisted his upper body, driving the point of his bde towards the bitch's gut.

  *SCHLING! THUD!*

"I got you, you cun—huh?" Ethan's monologue stopped as he noticed not one but two dark elves in his field of vision and the one that was practically naked looked down at the dagger with an unamused look on her face. Ethan didn't know why this Dark Elf wasn't showing any signs of pain. Hell it wasn't even bleeding with half of the bde inside of her abdomen.

'Th-This can't be happening! She should be bleeding! What is she made of!?' Ethan panicked as he tried to pull the dagger out, but it was wedged in the golem tight.

R9 slowly looking up at him, her face was emotionless, but her eyes said otherwise. Rya wanted to ugh at Ethan's useless attempt to try and stab her with a knife. However, it was a dirty dishonored attack and it might have gotten her if she did the same thing that R9 was doing earlier.

Rya was gd that she created her trusted golem to handle Ethan as she couldn't feel pain, but it annoyed her that Ethan tried to kill her with such an unhanded tactic.

Rya looked coldly at Ethan and calming said, "Just wound him."

The Foreign Prince didn't have anytime to react as R9 smashed his face into the broken marble flooring and was brought back up to his knees within a half-second. The shearing pain coming from his broken nose and dislocated jaw, he was screaming in agony and his mouth was filled with blood, while two of teeth fell out. His eyes were watering, but the only thing that he saw was R9's cold eyes, watching him with an emotionless face.

Prince Ethan Wisper didn't know how he could have lost. He had all the cards in his favor his entire life.

Ethan's life was a perfect one. He was one of the heirs to the Principality of Sokaris, which was one of the richest nds in the Independent Kingdoms due to all the mines and old abandoned demon fortresses left from bygone days. He was destined to conquer his brothers' nds and their holdings and take over the Principality, then the rest of the Independent Kingdoms to create a nation that could rivel both the Kingdom of Marn and Fiafyr.

But now, he was at the mercy of this woman and her clone. Whatever strength that was left in his body was gone. He would have fallen over if R9 wasn't holding him up by his hair.

R9 knew that her Creator was enjoying the suffering of this wretched man. Even she was surprised by the quickness of his surprise attack. But it did nothing to her. R9 observed Ethan's bloody and even though her face was like a mask, her eyes were smiling. R9 looked at the man with a cold eye and said, "Want... More?" She asked with a robotic, emotionless tone.

  "Hurm, huuu, huh, huh."

R9 knew that she couldn't understand him, but it didn't matter to her as she stood up and began to drag his body across the ballroom towards Jemma. She felt like her creator was giving her an order and she was going to fulfill it.

Ethan couldn't speak at the moment and his whole body looked lifeless as he was being dragged by his hair. R9 used her off hand to pull out the dagger that was stuck in her stomach. The wound closed up instantly as there wasn't a trace of the stabbing on her. She then squeezed the bde until it bent and broke the steel.

As the Dark Elf Princess's golems was dragging him across the broken floor, the shattered marble was cutting into his skin at the start until she gone him out of the impact crater that they were in. He felt the pain of the cuts and the sharp rocks. But it helped him keep conscious.

He tried to speak, but all that came out were grunts and groans. Blood was dripping down to the floor, making a trail.

Rya followed behind them as they approached Jemma, who looked confused. She didn't know what Rya was pnning, but she stood there silently with her two older sisters by her side.

Jemma watched as the Golem came within five feet of her and then R9 positioned Ethan on his knees in front of her. The golem grabbed the back of his neck before he fell over and presented him Jemma as a prized gift.

Jemma just stood there with her mouth open. She wasn't sure what to think. She never thought she'd see the day her cruel husband would be the one on his knees before her. The years of feeling afraid of him was starting to disappear.

R9, the Golem that was presenting her husband, was emotionless as she stood there holding him in pce while Rya approached Jemma.

The ballroom was silent waiting to see what the Dark Elf Princess was going to do.

"Say what you need to say, Lady Jemma. He needs to know how you feel," said the Dark Elf Princess.

Jemma looked down at her husband's bloodied and bruised face. He was breathing and could barely lift his head. He was pathetic, and helpless now, which the fear that held her in check for so long was dissipating. The look in his eyes showed a hint of fear and anger, as he looked at her. She saw the hatred that he had for her, but she didn't care.

"I hate you," Jemma said quietly. "You don't know what you've done. How many nights I have cried myself to sleep because of the pain. You've humiliated me and broken my heart. My only wish is for you to leave me alone... You tortured us and you didn't care—No! You enjoyed it. You were a monster, and I wish you would have died years ago... But even now, even with all the pain and hurt you've caused me. I don't want you dead, anymore. Because I'm not like you! I'm not a monster and I won't stoop down to your level... I want a divorce and I want you to free the other women from the harem."

Ethan wanted to scream at her. She had no authority to divorce him and he wanted to teach her a lesson.

Jemma could see that he was trying to say something, but his jaw was broken. All that came out were grunts and slurred speech.

Rya saw this and wished she could have used the Healing Time Magic to make him feel the pain when fixing his jaw, but she noticed that this magic healed the whole body. Maybe there was a way to focus it on an area, but she didn't want him fully healed in case he tried to do something stupid again. She she used her normal healing magic and only healed his jaw enough to let him speak.

Ethan, feeling his jaw fixed, spat out blood and screamed. "Who the hell are you? Do you know who I am?! My father is the ruler of Sokaris! No woman can demand a divorce from me!" The Prince definitely roared.

The audience couldn't help but ugh. They couldn't believe how delusional this man was. He was a joke, a farce on the nobility throughout the Agon Continent. Even Aric grimaced with second hand embarrassment.

Jemma looked at her husband with a bnk steely gaze and spoke.

"Your father, King Gideon Wisper, is on his deathbed and you have been humiliated not once, or twice, but three times, Prince Ethan. You are nothing here and you have lost any power you had over me. I'm not asking for a divorce, I'm demanding it," she stated coldly.

Ethan just growled and gred at her, "And become the ughing stock of my brothers, while losing all my legitimacy for reunification!? No! If you wish to be free of me then you'll have to come down to my level and kill me, you cun~UUHHH!?"

R9 began to tighten her grip around the back of Ethan's neck. Causing him to cry out in pain.

Rya smirked and looked at Jemma, "Well. I guess you can go a little down to his level."

Jemma was confused by Rya's words, but then her eyes went wide as she felt the Dark Elf gently touch her back. Jemma's Mana Vein was unnaturally filling up with Rya's Mana and the sensation caused her knees to weaken.

"Ahh...what...are you doing?" Jemma asked in a daze.

"I'm going to teach you how to use a spell," Rya replied, her hand gently caressing the woman's spine as she felt her mana flowing into her. If anyone was looking through the Seer Stone at that moment. They would have seen Jemma's Mana Vein thicken up as it absorbed the mana from the Dark Elf. However, Jemma's vein wouldn't have gotten brighter due it still being under developed. It will return to its natural state after the mana is used up.

"A...spell? I...don't understand," Jemma replied while trying not to moan.

"He needs to know what he'll be dealing with the rest of his life if he refuses to comply," Rya said while staring down the prince.

'Huh!? M-My body feels alive! Wait!? She's powering my Mage Veins! How can she do this? Oh!?... It doesn't matter! This is a perfect opportunity to learn to cast magic,' Jemma thought with excitement.

"B-But what about your golem? Won't she be hurt if I cast a spell?" Jemma asked as her fingers were tingling.

Rya shook her head, "That's the beauty about golems, they're naturally immunity to Lightning Magic. Right, R9?" the Dark Elf replied with a smirk.

The golem gave Jemma a quick nod while holding the grunting Prince in pce.

Jemma's face lit up with excitement.

"What do I do?" Jemma asked excitedly.

Rya came in close to whisper in Jemma's ear, "You need to control the flow of Mana into your forearm and to tips of your fingers. Once you feel them buzzing slightly, stretch out your arm and aim it at your target. Then say lightning. Your voice will initiate the incantation and the mana will activate the spell."

"How much Mana should I pour into my arm?" Jemma asked.

"Enough until your fingertips start to tingle," Rya expined. "Here, I'll help you channel your mana the first time. After that, have fun."

Jemma felt Rya channeling her mana into the correct spots in her right arm and it felt wonderful. She could feel her finger's tips start to get warm and tingly.

"Oh...I'm feeling it now," Jemma stated as her gray eye were glowing with a slight yellowish light. She extended her right arm out, aimed her finger at the Prince.

R9 lessoned her grip and allowed Ethan to think again as the pain faded. He heard bits and pieces, however, didn't understand what was going on.

Ethan gritted his teeth and gred at his wife. He saw her extending her arm out.

"Tsk! You pretending to be a mage? What a joke!" Ethan said with a pained chuckle. It was the only thing he could do to her and she didn't have the guts or the strength to—

The prince heard an odd noise and then watched as his wife's fingers sparked.

"H-huh?" Ethan felt a new sense of dread.

'Is she a real mage?' He wondered.

  "Lightning..."

Ethan's eyes went wide with shock and fear.

  "NO!!!"

A thin blue arc of lightning shot from all the tips of Jemma's fingers and combined into one thick bolt and struck the Prince directly in the chest.

"ARGHHHH!!" Ethan cried out as he was paralyzed by the powerful electric attack. His body convulsed and his eyes rolled up.

Ethan screamed in agony and the scent of burnt hair and flesh filled the air.

Jemma gasped in delight as her gray eyes lit up and sparkled. "I did it!" She stood there, shocked. She stared at her fingers in amazement.

Rya smiled as she watched Jemma's first spell work perfectly. The lightning bolts hit the Prince dead-center, making him bck out. R9 punched him in the chest to jumpstart his heart.

  "GAHHH!?" *COUGH!* *COUGH!*

The Prince started coughing violently as his heart started back up again. He looked down at his charred tunic, his skin was blistered and raw under his clothing. He had a rge burnt mark over his chest.

"What's going on!? What the hell did you do to my wife!?" Ethan demanded as his eyes struggled to focus on his wife, Jemma.

"Oh? You didn't hear us earlier? I found out that your wife is a Lightning Mage... I'll make sure her, Elite level Mana Vein is fully developed so when she returns home, she's be able to cast all types of lightning magic for weeks before she needs to rest."

  Rya informed the Prince.

"What... No! You can't do this!" Ethan shouted in horror as his eyes widened. "J-Jemma, listen! She's lying, she's using a spell or a potion, or something to make you think you're a mage! There's no such thing! Just ignore her! We'll talk about this ter and figure things out."

Jemma didn't say anything, but her gray eyes began to glow again as she channeled her mana herself this time.

"W-what are you doing? Are you stupid?! Don't listen to her!" Ethan shouted as he tried to break free from R9's vice like grip, but the golem wasn't budging.

  "I want a divorce..."

  "That's NOT HAPPENIN—"

  "Lightning!"

  *ZAP!!!*

A bright blue fsh of light came from her eyes and the next thing Prince Ethan knew, his vision went dark.

  "ARGHH!!!!"

Another powerful lightning bolt hit him, leaving his body smoking.

"Gahh... J-Jemma?" Prince Ethan was still alive and barely conscious, the pain was almost too much for him to bear, but the adrenaline rush helped him stay awake. He couldn't let his guard down. Not when his wife was casting lightning magic.

He had no idea what had happened. Jemma was supposed to be a simple Noblewoman with royal ties. She only had the possibility of giving birth to a child with a strong mana vein. If she did possess a mage vein then his ability to take out his frustrations on any future wives would disappear. He would need to hire a powerful mage from one of the Mage's Guilds in Helm's Brook, but they refuse to join a side until one of the Wisper brothers becomes the next king.

The Principality of Sokaris is one of the few territories that didn't have a Mage's Academy within its borders, so the number of active Mages in the Principality of Sokaris could be counted with two hands. They would have to spend gold to any wandering mages who were looking to expand in the field of the arcane, which few wanted to stay put even with the rge amounts of gold being offered. It mainly had to do with the constant upheaval and instability of each line of secession.

Hence why they were the weakest in magic, but they made up for their ck of mages with some of the most dangerous Majas in the human realms.

'I-I can't have her stay with me! If this Dark Elf is speaking the truth than Jemma's scorn will be worse than death! I need to break the seal!'

Ethan stopped smoking after a while and his breathing became bored. He was having trouble keeping his eyes open and the pain was becoming unbearable.

Jemma's eyes lite up one more time as she channeled the st of the mana that Rya lent her. She looked at Ethan one more time. She didn't want to kill him, but if he refused to break the enchanted seal of marriage, then she will be forever bound to him and he would know exactly where she was or if she every cheated on him with another man.

'If I don't do this, he'll just find a way to cage me again.'

Ethan opened his mouth and as quickly as he could, he began to say the incantation that would release the magic of the enchantment on the wedding ring.

"Th-the seal is-s b-broken. P-ple-ease d-don't k-k-kill m-me." Ethan was on his knees, bleeding and smoking. He was barely alive. Jemma felt relieved as the pain finally disappeared and the magical seal that was tracking her was broken.

She looked at her left hand and saw the wedding ring shatter into several pieces, falling to the floor. 'I'm free! But he needs to free the others, too.'

"What about the others?" Jemma ordered why aiming her hand at him again.

"T-they're mine—I mean, I Prince Ethan Wisper forth son of King Gideon Wisper of the Principality of Sokaris wish to unbound my life from the burden of my wives! I do not wish to marry them and I have no reason to bind them to my personage. Let them all be free!" Ethan shouted.

Rya gnced over at the open portal to Ethan's room. There was three other women helping the first one was being whipped by the Prince earlier. They didn't know what was going on but they entered their husband's "discipline" room when they heard a rge group of women ughing at their husband that couldn't possibly fit in such a small room. Along with the screams of Ethan's torture, there was an angry woman yelling at him who sounded like Jemma. But they knew that shouldn't be possible because she left to go down south to be at her younger sister's, coming of age party.

That's when the discovered the rge magical portal in the room with Mayra sleeping soundly on the bed next to the portal's opening. They couldn't believe as they saw Jemma using lightning magic on Ethan. They didn't know if what they were looking at was an hallucination or not.

It was only when all their rings were broken did the women understand that what they were seeing was true. That their master and husband had freed them.

"W-What do we do?" One of them whispered.

"We need to find out what's going on."

"But what if the Prince tries—"

"Do you wish to find shelter in Fiafyr?" Queen Rianna asked these women on the other side of the portal.

"You're Queen Rianna, the wife of King Cyndre Meredydd?" Mayra asked, sitting up from the bed and looking into the room. She was shocked to see so many women in a pce.

"I am... I'll offer you a pce to stay until you find out what you want to do with your lives."

These four women couldn't believe there ears, but if it was true, then why not take the offer and get out of the Principality of Sokaris.

"We're not going back there. But where are we now?" The st one to show up spoke.

"We're in the Kingdom of Fiafyr, the capital city is Tairal. I'll take you back to my pace, so you'll have a safe pce to sleep," Rianna replied.

The four of them looked at each other before they crawled through the portal.

Jemma hurried over to them and hugged the first three that came out. "Mayra, Zelena, and Lillian."

"Jemma?! We're free, right?! You're free!"

  "We're finally rid of him."

They all started to cry in joy.

"I don't mean to ruin the reunion. But we should be leaving, this party is over for all I care," Queen Rianna stated openly, which most of the Ladies of the Court agreed. Rianna looked over to her four other nieces. "You four are coming with me to the pace as well. Stay goodbye to your parents and take my carriage back now," Rianna commanded the four women.

They were surprised, but the two younger ones, Lydia and Cra, were excited to stay with their aunt, while Sara and Eleanora couldn't believe how lucky they were.

Sara gred at her mother one st time. "I hope I never see you again, mother. I'm done with this pce. We are going to live up north in Baroness Ysandra's Domain, away from this toxic pce."

Eleanora and Jemma looked over at Sara.

"I can't wait to get out of this pce, either," Eleanora added.

"Me too," Jemma agreed as the Revelia daughters were the first ones to leave the party. Rya saw that every else had the same idea. She needed to get rid of Ethan and the portal before pointing out the other undiscovered mages to Saffron.

"R9!? Let's send him home," Rya said.

  "Yes... Creator."

Ethan groaned as he was getting dragged away from the party. He had his eyes glued to his former wives, as they followed Jemma and a few of the Queen's knights.

'I-I've lost everything!' His thoughts were interrupted went the golem lifted him up to his feet with ease.

"I'll tell you this once. You're lucky that you're alive right now, because of the choice was left to me then you would have left you die in the dirt," Rya said, walking behind the golem.

Ethan felt a chill down his spine as Rya was gring daggers at him.

"But if I find that you are beating women after today, then I will personally find you and kill you myself. Do you understand?"

Ethan nodded weakly. "I-I under-stand," he stuttered as his throat was dry. He then looked over at Aric who was covered in sweat after witnessing everything. "A-Aric! Our—deal is over! You—hear me!? OVER!"

Rya smiled as the golem didn't waste anymore time and threw him through the portal. He smashed into he wardrobe that housed all of his instruments of torture.

"GAHH!" He screamed out as he nded face first on the floor. "Uhhhhhh!" He passed out after taking so much abuse.

Rya then closed the portal after Ethan's body was through.

"So, what do we do with you, Aric?" She said, looking at the Duke.

He stayed quiet as he watched the golem.

"That's what I thought! You better leave before I change my mind!" She said.

He looked around at everyone and saw that no one was on his side, not even his wife was there to defend him, who was already out the door.

He left the party with his tail tucked between his legs. 'Mark my words! I will find away to get you back, you whore! I will destroy you and take my daughters back!' He thought as he stormed out of the ballroom.
