The Dawn(Prologue)

A sun, glowing with the morning's first light, began to show itself, sending the first rays of light to a sleeping forest.

The life that called the forest home awoke, but moved almost hesitantly. They somehow sensed something amiss with this morning.

Within a mountain's cave, a glowing pool, undisturbed for decades, suddenly rippled, something within the water disrupting its natural flow.

A shadowed form, masked by the depth of the water, moved upwards. A hand broke the surface of the water, followed by the figure's full body.

Pulling themselves out of the water, they stood, looking at the cave around them.

They took their first steps, walking out of the cave, blinking at the sudden light. They stood there a while, before stepping forward, standing at the edge of a cliff, at a world unfamiliar.

Standing there, they looked upward at the rising sun, which was now fully visible, the orange light it gave silhouetting the figure against the sky.
