Felmer straightened his body and stared at the queen. She was delighted by the courtesy.

‘Hmm…A brave young man. Not a local…’ She thought.

She got up from her throne and clapped. She plucked two grapes, ate one herself, and threw the other at Felmer. Felmer caught it, looked at it, and ate it.

“Peasants should be rewarded.” She said, generating a sword of blood.

“I am glad you liked it…” Felmer replied. His body was shivering. He could feel the power gap.

“You know how to respect, young man.” She said, took off her robe, and it vanished in a blood orb. “I would like to see how you use the blade…”

Felmer blinked, and she was gone. He blinked again, and she was right in front of him. The queen attacked, and Felmer instinctively defended. The blow was hard.

  “Hmm…Not bad…” She complimented, smiling.

  Felmer was being pushed back.

  ‘Damn…She is strong!’ Felmer grunted.

She parried and kicked Felmer with full force. Felmer was sent back, flying. He crashed through the walls, outside the castle. He was in the air when a rock came flying at him. He was thrown back towards the ground. Felmer fell on the ground, dug his sword into the ground, delayed his crash, and crashed into a ruined wall with force. He felt immense pain in his back.

His squad saw him getting beaten. But they were busy with the queen’s army. Felmer was alone, for now.

Felmer coughed and grabbed his head.

“She is powerful…Too much…” He said to himself.

Felmer grabbed his sword and stood straight. He stretched his body, cracked his knuckles, and took his stance. He saw the queen, standing and smiling. She jumped down and landed on the ground.

Felmer took a deep breath, gathered magic in his legs, and attacked her. The swords clashed with force, and his attack was blocked. Felmer immediately placed his left hand on his sword and pushed the blood sword aside. He seized the opening and kicked the queen in the face. She staggered. He drove his sword into the ground and kicked her in the chest with his right leg. Then he bounded to the other side of the sword, gathered magic in his left leg, and delivered a powerful kick to her stomach. The force was enough, and she was sent flying back into the castle’s walls. The walls shook and collapsed on her.

Felmer walked back and took a defensive stance. He knew this damage wasn’t enough for her. And he was right.

A blood whip emerged from beneath the rocks and threw away the boulders. The queen had covered herself with a blood wall. She stood, walked ahead, and thought.

  ‘Cheeky brat…’

“You are a good fighter, Prince of Cerfis…” She said.

“So you are aware of the outside world?” Felmer asked, gaze fixed on her.

“Of course, darling. After all, I made this realm.”

The locals had entered the walls and were battling with the army. Elna’s arrows hit any enemy under her radar. Lelis killed a soldier, cocked the rifle, and was followed by another kill. She was firing with speed and perfection. Benny couldn’t kill due to his inexperience, but he successfully injured soldiers. It was enough for someone of his age.

On the other side, the three men slew the ground forces. Captain Irnik charged an attack and waved his sword, a thread emerged in a straight line and killed every soldier in its path. Melfer’s golden rope was killing the enemies. Flexin’s swiftness was enough to neutralise the soldiers.

Everyone was giving their best contribution.

Felmer looked at the queen and charged at her. The queen snapped her fingers, and a light red orb emerged. Everything in the orb was slowed down. Felmer was suspended. The queen walked ahead, grabbed him by the neck, snapped her fingers, the orb vanished, and bashed Felmer into the ground.

She smirked, generated a blood needle from her other hand, and pointed it directly at Felmer’s head. Melfer noticed, whipped his rope, and hit the needle. The needle flew away. Melfer then whipped the rope at her face. She grabbed it, pulled the rope, and punched Melfer in the face. She threw away the rope and then looked at her hand. The rope had burned her palm. She healed it immediately.

Felmer was still recovering from the last blow. He couldn’t move. The queen pointed her sword at him and was about to kill him when, suddenly, a bullet hit her hand. It was Lelis. Felmer’s vision cleared. He immediately grabbed Melfer by the collar and walked away from her.

Lelis loaded and fired another bullet at her. She tossed away the bullet with blood. Then picked up a boulder with the blood rope and threw it at the tower’s base. The tower fell, and Lelis and Benny stumbled. Lelis jumped, but she couldn’t grab Benny. Felmer flashed at the falling tower and saved his falling brother.

  “You alright?” Felmer asked Benny.

“Yes, I am fine…” He replied.

“What about you? You are the one getting beaten…” Lelis said, taking cover behind a wall.

“I am just fine…” Felmer replied.

The local forces met Irnik and Flexin and helped them.

“You go fight the queen. We will deal with them…” The man leading them said.

  “Okay…” Captain Irnik replied.

Flexin and the captain rushed at the queen. Captain Irnik attacked her and made her step back. Melfer got the opening and rushed ahead to get back his sword. He picked it up from the ground and retreated. The captain joined the two and stood face to face with the queen.

Melfer, Captain Irnik, and Flexin stood ready, swords pointed at the Twilight Queen.

The queen smiled and stared at her opponents.

  “Hmm…Three on One. Not fair.”
